CNP Assurances has announced sales of 36 billion euros for the 2022 financial year, up 13.7% on 2021, driven by the acquisition of Italian subsidiaries in Europe outside France (+78%) and by the commercial dynamism of its Latin American business (+14.9%).

On a like-for-like basis, however, sales were down 3.6% on the previous year.

Net insurance income (NII) reached 3.8 billion euros, up +9.6% like-for-like on the same period twelve months earlier.

Lastly, gross operating income came to 3.5 billion euros, up 6.6% L/L, while net income, Group share, stood at 1.9 billion euros, up 25%.

CNP Assurances' strong earnings growth was driven by its international development strategy and its remarkable adaptation to the interest-rate environment," emphasizes CNP Assurances CEO Stephane Dedeyan.
