CGI Acquires Cognicase Management Consulting

CGI Inc. said Wednesday that it is acquiring technology and management consulting services company Cognicase Management Consulting for an undisclosed sum.

The Canadian IT and business consulting services firm said the acquisition will deepen its footprint in Spain, CMC's main market, and strengthen CGI's client-proximity model.

Outside of Spain, CMC also serves clients in Italy, Portugal, Colombia and Mexico, it said.

"CMC's proven industry expertise and solutions complement CGI's end-to-end services, ranging from comprehensive consulting capabilities to systems integration and managed IT services," the company said.
