Central China Real Estate Limited provided consolidated earnings guidance for the year ended 31 December 2023. For the year, the company expected that the Group will record a loss attributable to equity shareholders of the Company of approximately RMB 2.8 billion to RMB 3.8 billion, representing a decrease of approximately RMB 3.8 billion to approximately RMB 4.8 billion compared with the full year of 2022. The loss was mainly attributable to the combined impact of the macroeconomic situation and the downturn in the property market, which resulted in a decrease in the overall scale of revenue recognised and the inability of revenue to cover the Company's costs and expenses; the impact of the provision for impairment of inventories and receivables, which was estimated based on the principle of prudence.
