New Chicago Multimodal Service Looking for capacity in the U.S. Midwest? We have a new transload service for you!

Customers shipping to Western Canada out of the U.S. Midwest can now take advantage of additional capacity from a new transload service. Fast and flexible, our new Chicago Multimodal Service combines the advantages of road and rail for a complete end-to-end supply chain solution.

This new service offering includes pick up of palletized freight directly from your facility by 53ft road trailers for transport to CN's new distribution facility in Bridgeview, IL. There the goods will be transloaded into CN-managed 40ft containers and shipped seamlessly by rail to Western Canada for final delivery.

Combined Advantages of Road and Rail

Our transload facility in Bridgeview, IL is only 16 miles from CN's Chicago Intermodal terminal. Our rail service to Western Canada runs 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Shipments can originate from a variety of points including Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Missouri or Kentucky. Our intermodal services extend well beyond our tracks with the convenience of road service and value of rail.
