(Alliance News) - Boku Inc on Thursday said senior independent non-executive director, Stewart Roberts, will retire after the firm's annual general meeting, set to take place in May.

The London-based provider of mobile payment solutions said existing non-executive director Charlotta Ginman will take over Roberts' role, effective immediately. She will also assume the role of chair of the Audit Committee and will become a member of the Remuneration Committee when he steps down.

Ginman is also currently a non-executive director at Gamma Communications PLC, a London-based cloud communication services provider.

Non-Executive Chair Richard Hargreaves said: "I would like to thank Stewart for his contribution to Boku over the past four years. We will miss his wise counsel and wish him well in his future endeavours."

Shares in Boku were up 0.3% at 159.50 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
