RAPID CITY, S.D. - July 30, 2018 - Black Hills Energy was recently named by Forbes to its America's Best Midsize Employers 2018 list alongside national brands like TripAdvisor, Lego Group and Johns Hopkins University. The list is a subset of its 'America's Best Employers of 2018.'

Forbes chose the top 250 midsize companies (1,000-5,000 employees) based on an independent survey of 30,000 American employees working for midsize to large firms and institutions.

Forbes partnered with analytics firm Statista to conduct the survey, which was designed to determine which companies make their employees feel secure, understood, needed and inspired. The most heavily weighted question in the survey asked employees how willing they would be to recommend their company to a friend or family member.

'Being named to this distinguished list demonstrates our continuing efforts into making Black Hills Energy a great workplace,'
