- Shafton Steel Services delivers steel profiles to structural steel and engineering companies throughout the UK
Shafton Steel Services recently supplied the first of several different flame cut S355J2+N steel profiles with drilled holes, to a customer, and all of the profiles have a shotblasted finish. Some of profiles are 60mm thick profiles with 22mm diameter & 36mm diameter drilled holes.
The customer specialises in a number of different construction projects, including data centres, sports stadiums, bridges and retail and commercial buildings.
Our CNC plate machine provides high speed carbine drilling from 5mm to 40mm holes, with the capacity to drill up to 80mm thick plates. Shafton Steel Services has extensive experience in the profiling industry and all our operatives are highly skilled, allowing us to deliver on complex projects. At the company there is a process of continuous investment in new technology, which includes CNC plate drilling. Also, our gas and plasma machines provide fully prepared CE marked components, helping customers to reduce lead times.
The customer selected Shafton Steel Services because of our history with supplying high quality steel profiles and they required extremely accurate drilled holes for their structures, We also pride ourselves on the top-quality customer care, which was also a huge factor in Shafton Steel Services obtaining this work.
