Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. (ZGSE:PBZ-R-A) agreed to acquire 51% stake in Banka Koper DD from Intesa Sanpaolo SpA (CM:ISP) on October 25, 2016. Under the terms, Privredna Banka will acquire 0.27 million shares. After this transaction Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. will continue to own around 48% of the shares of Banka Koper dd.
There will be no changes in the management of Banka Koper. The deal, subject to regulatory requirement in Croatia and Slovenia, is expected to close in early 2017.
