National Entertainment Network LLC, a national entertainment kiosk provider, has acquired a large portion of Bandai Namco's arcade business in the U.S. Jim Sevalt, NEN president, told Vending Times.

Bandai Namco last month announced plans to exit the North American arcade business on account of amusement facility closures caused by COVID-19.

NEN will assume more than 700 locations, including more than 6,000 assets, Sevalt said. The locations include 500 Walmart stores as well as a couple hundred theaters, casino arcades, malls, restaurants and water parks.

The locations NEN did not acquire consist of non-revenue sharing mall locations.

Sevalt did not wish to disclose the purchase price.
