(Alliance News) - Banca Mediolanum Spa announced Tuesday that Gianluca Bosisio, current general manager of the Italian parent company, will serve as managing director of Spanish subsidiary Banco Mediolanum SA and Igor Garzesi, current managing director of Banco Mediolanum SA, will assume the position of general manager of the Italian parent company - Banca Mediolanum, reporting directly to CEO Massimo Doris.

Massimo Doris, CEO of Banca Mediolanum, commented, "I am sure that this change will bring benefits to both of our companies involved. Banco Mediolanum is experiencing a phase of greater maturity and is reuniting with Gianluca Bosisio, who had already done a decisive job when we entered the Spanish market. Today Bosisio returns to Spain with the strong experience as general manager carried out in Italy, where he contributed decisively to the growth in results over the last ten years."

Banca Mediolanum's stock is up 0.4 percent at EUR8.32 per share.
