Atome Energy PLC - Leeds, England-based producer and marketer of green hydrogen and ammonia- Says that Clean Power Hydrogen PLC, a Doncaster, England-based green hydrogen technology firm, expects to ship a 1 megawatt electrolyser to Atome by the end of the first quarter of 2023. The electrolyser will be located at industrial premises close to Paraguay's capital Asuncion, at large cement works at Yguazu Cementos in the Villa Hayes.

Atome adds that following a completed payment of USD300,000, no further payments are due until the first quarter of 2024. At this time, Clean Power will upgrade the electrolyser at its own cost with the latest technology, Atome says.

Atome Energy Chief Executive Officer Olivier Mussat says, looking ahead: "Whilst our flagship industrial scale hydrogen and ammonia project in Villeta in Paraguay progresses rapidly, generating significant interest both domestically and internationally with a constant flow of positive news, our more modest Mobility division, servicing the unique zero emission transport needs of the country is leading the way for the first ever green hydrogen sales in Paraguay and making significant progress on many levels with limited capital exposure and a beneficial financial and income generative structure commencing next year."
