On 10th of January 2017, Tallink City Hotel, Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel and Pirita Spa Hotel in Tallinn gained official star-rating from Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association. Tallink Hotel Riga and Tallink Express Hotel in Tallinn have joined the standard already earlier.

Tallink City Hotel and Tallink Spa & Conference Hotel gained 4 stars and Pirita Spa Hotel 3 stars.

The General Manager of Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association, Mrs Maarika Liivamägi said that the association is welcoming the interest of Tallink Hotels to work with the service quality of the hotels, which is backed with joining the star-system of Hotel Stars Union (HSU). "Almost 23 000 hotels in 16 European countries have joined the system. For customers it is the sign of confirmed quality and meeting the expectations for three, four or five star rated accommodation service. In Estonia, 30 hotels have joined the standard and Tallink Grupp with its hotels is definitely adding value to that dignified list", said Liivamägi.

The Chairman of the Board of TLG Hotels OÜ operating the Tallink Hotels chain, Mr Peter Roose said, that the company has until now paid especially much attention on the home markets, where Tallink`s brand is well-known and highly valued. "From now on we would also like to extend our attention to more distant markets, which due to the digital channels are practically as near. The official stars standard is an additional quality guarantee to those customers, who do not know the brand. This is why we decided to join also the last three remaining hotels of our chain to this standard", added Roose.

Tallink Hotels is the largest hotel chain in Estonia, based on the Estonian capital and owned by AS Tallink Grupp. There are four hotels in Tallinn and one in Riga.

The Estonian Hotel and Restaurant Association is a representative organisation of employers that is public, voluntary and operates on democratic principles.
