Alstom announces that its Board of Directors has co-opted Philippe Petitcolin as an independent director to replace Jay Walder, who has resigned, for the remainder of his term of office, i.e. until the close of the AGM on June 20.

This cooptation of the former Safran CEO will be subject to ratification by the AGM, which will also be asked to vote on the renewal of his term of office as director for a further four years.

As a reminder, the separation of the functions of Chairman and CEO will become effective at the close of this AGM. At that time, Philippe Petitcolin will assume the role of Chairman of the Board, with Henri Poupart-Lafarge continuing as Chief Executive Officer.
