Akwel reports sales of 990.5 ME for fiscal year 2022, up 7.4% on the previous year.

However, between 2021 and 2022, Akwel's EBITDA fell by 30.6% to 81.3 ME, while operating income recurring declined by 48.7% to 38.6 ME.
Net income, Group share, came to 11.1 ME, down 78.3% on 2021.

The Group points out that the delayed impact of purchase price increases on sales prices, combined with additional costs generated by supply tensions, 'weighed heavily on its results'.

For 2023, Akwel says it is 'cautious' about forecasts for the sector's recovery, and expects sales to grow slightly, with visibility still very limited by economic and geopolitical tensions.
