The Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) has instituted criminal proceedings against the country's three mobile phone service providers for failure to meet minimum standards of quality of service. The ICT Regulatory body responsible for regulating the ICT Sector in Zambia has brought the charges against Airtel, MTN Zambia and ZAMTEL.
