A.L.A. SOCIETÀ PER AZIONI (Alliance News) - ALA Spa announced Monday the opening of the first foreign branch of its Spanish subsidiary Sintersa SA, located in northern Italy.
Fulvio Scannapieco, co-founder and president of ALA, the company that controls SCP Sintersa, commented, "The opening of the new subsidiary in Italy marks a significant step for the group, which, thanks to Sintersa's experience, aims to gain further market share in the aerospace, defense, rail and industrial sectors, to increasingly become the reference point at the Italian and international level. We believe this operation can further improve operational and commercial synergies, as well as offer the group's attutal customers new products and services."
"This plant is further proof of the focus on Italy and the Italian market, and it will not simply be a distribution point, but a center of excellence and innovation. We will bring directly into the heart of Italian industry our expertise in the design, production and assembly of electrical interconnection systems enriched by Sintersa's quality and 40 years of experience."
ALA on Friday closed 0.9 percent in the red at EUR15.85 per share.
