Industrial conglomerate 3M reports adjusted EPS (non-GAAP) up 21% to $2.39 for the first three months of 2024, with adjusted operating margin improving by four points to 21.9% of sales.

Also on an adjusted basis, revenues were roughly stable (+0.5%) at $7.72 billion, with organic growth of 0.8% and favorable scope effects outweighing negative currency effects.

On this occasion, 3M has set new targets for 2024 based on continuing operations, namely adjusted EPS of between $6.80 and $7.30, and organic growth in adjusted sales of between 0 and 2%.
