Trent Green, the former senior vice president and chief operating officer of Legacy Health, is the new CEO of One Medical. Green's appointment comes after former CEO Amir Dan Rubin announced August 31 that he was stepping down. Green served as COO before his appointment as CEO, leading One Medical's primary care office, virtual care and administrative services operations.

Green, a 2022 PBJ Executive of the Year, has 25 years of experience in health care operations, including medical groups, urgent care, ancillary and acute care services. He spent 14 years at Portland-based Legacy, which is in talks to merge into OHSU, leading operations for six hospitals and more than 70 primary care, specialty and urgent care clinics. He also served as president of Legacy Emanuel Medical Center and Legacy's Unity Center for Behavioral Health.

Previously, he spent a decade as a management consultant for Tiber Group/Navigant Consulting. He has a Master of Health Care Administration from the University of Minnesota.
