SAO PAULO, July 7 (Reuters) - Brazilian power company Eletrobras has begun structuring a process to sell its gas-fired power plants, in line with a goal of reaching net-zero carbon emissions, it said on Friday.

Eletrobras, Latin America's largest utility, said in a securities filing that its gas-fired power stations portfolio includes about a dozen plants that in 2025 would account for total capacity of 2,059 megawatts. (Reporting by Gabriel Araujo Editing by David Goodman )
