  • ArcelorMittal: Q1 Ebitda tripled to $3.24bn, above market expectations. Management is very positive about the start of the year.
  • EssilorLuxottica: sales show good growth in Q1, which allows it to return above the level of Q1 2019, before the pandemic.
  • Societe Generale: Q1 results were a marked improvement, particularly net profit, at €814m, whereas the institution was loss-making last year. Market activities had their best quarter since 2017, a positive ahead of the presentation of the future of this division in a few days.
  • Valneva' s shares placed at EUR 11 in the United States, or USD 26.41.
  • Anheuser-Busch Inbev: the brewer's Q1 revenue and earnings growth were well above expectations.

  • Uber: the stock loses nearly 5% in after-hours trading after the release of its Q1 results.
  • Volkswagen: the automaker raises its 2021 guidance after beating consensus in Q1.
