EU must change its approach on trade talks to revive them, says Gove

LONDON (Reuters) - The European Union must change its approach to trade talks with Britain if it wants to restart negotiations, cabinet office minister Michael Gove said on Monday, repeating London's calls for the bloc to talk about legal texts.

In a statement to parliament, Gove, Britain's point man on the earlier divorce deal between the two sides, said trade negotiations had ended after the Oct. 15 deadline that Prime Minister Boris Johnson set.

Gove said the EU had refused to discuss legal texts of a draft trade deal.
