Communications services companies rose as traders hedged their bets on the outlook for growth in the sector.
Paramount shares rose slightly after analysts at brokerage Morgan Stanley said the Hollywood studio and streaming service is taking steps towards lowering its cost base.
Shares of Zoom Video Communications topped $70 and entered positive territory for the year to date.
