He's moving over from rival luxury carmaker Bentley.

Aston Martin said he would take over in his new job no later than October 1.

It's the latest management shake-up under chairman and top shareholder Lawrence Stroll.

Hallmark will become the third CEO of Aston Martin since Stroll took over the carmaker four years.

He replaces the former Ferrari boss Amedeo Felisa, who joined Aston Martin in 2022.

Stroll praised the work done by Felisa but said now is the right time to transition into a new leadership.

Hallmark has been CEO of Bentley since February 2018.

Aston Martin is well known as James Bond's car of choice.

In February, the British automaker delayed the launch of its first electric car.

It blamed a lack of consumer demand.

But record prices for its luxury and special edition models helped it shrink annual losses.
