Mr. Calvert began his career at FBW in 1974 in the Public Finance Department serving as a financial advisor to municipalities.
His academic interests include real estate and municipal finance.
In addition to participating as a regional representative for the Virginia Athletics Foundation, he has served on both the mid-Atlantic and National Capital Area American Heart Association boards.
His interests include running, architecture, and college lacrosse.
He resides in Ellicott City, Md., with his wife, Barbara.
Mr. Calvert graduated from McIntire in 1972 with a concentration in finance; he received an M.B.A.
from The College of William and Mary and has served on the Advisory Board since 2001.
