Omar Haneef

Mr. Omar Haneef is Chief Investment Officer at Small Ventures USA LLC.
He joined Small Ventures in December 2008.
Previously, he was Vice President in the Global Special Situations Group at Citigroup.
Prior to Citigroup, he managed an Analytics group at MetLife.
He has also been a consultant and a researcher in Neural Networks.
Mr. Haneef earned his BS in Engineering from Swarthmore College where he also completed the requirements for degrees in Literature and Philosophy.
Additionally, he has a MS in Computer Science and a MA in Cognitive Psychology from Rutgers University.
His research was on artificial intelligence, machine learning and optimized Web searching.
Finally, he has an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
He currently resides in Houston.
