Kushan de Alwis

Kushan de Alwis is currently the Vice Chairman of The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka.
He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director at Ceylon Tobacco Co. Plc, and an Independent Non-Executive Director at National Development Bank Plc, Lanka Hospitals Corp.
Plc, and Board of Investment of Sri Lanka.
Additionally, he is a Director at Vurthiya Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., a Member of the National Council for Economic Development, a Member-Executive Committee of the Bar Association of Sri Lanka, and the Vice President of the Colombo Law Society.
In the past, he served as the Chairman of the Office for National Unity & Reconciliation and as a Director at Colombo Lotus Tower Management Co. Pvt Ltd.
He was also a Member of the Law Commission of Sri Lanka from 2011 to 2015 and a Panel Member at the Tax Appeals Commission.
