Josh Jung

Josh Jung has more than 10 years of industry experience in venture investment and technology.
He joined Vertex Growth in January 2022.
Prior to joining Vertex, Josh was one of the founding team members and an Investment Principal at Access Ventures, an early-stage Venture Capital fund investing in Southeast Asia & South Korea.
He led investments in early-stage startups with tech-driven and regional potentials, encompassing AI/ML, enterprise SaaS, and commerce-enabling tech.
He also had driven the fund operations such as fundraising, portfolio management, and LP relations.
Before his investment career, he was a machine learning engineer at Korea Telecom, the second-largest telco in South Korea, and research engineer at Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI), the largest government-funded IT R&D institute in South Korea.
Josh graduated from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) with a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree and a Bachelor of Science in Information and Communications Engineering.
