Geoff Gilton

Geoff Gilton is the Senior Vice President of Technology at Service Credit Union.
In this role, Gilton oversees information technology, information security and project management at the credit union, leading the company’s technological strategy and innovation to continuously improve the member experience.
Gilton joined Service Credit Union In 2019 after more than 20 years of experience in the technology space on an international scope, transforming technology platforms and driving strategic level initiatives across a variety of industries.
Before joining Service CU, he spent two years in private equity, leading Information Technology and Cybersecurity for a portfolio of communication services providers.
Prior to private equity, he spent five years in banking technology, leading technology strategy and design for Infrastructure Services at Citizens Bank.
During his tenure, he led company-wide programs including BYOD, 4G branch resiliency, Cloud Working Group and RBS Separation.
He was responsible for strategy and design across the entire infrastructure technology portfolio, including data center, end user (Desktop, Mobility, Virtualization), network (Voice, Data, Telecom), hosting and facilities.
Before that, he spent four years working with entrepreneurial companies in the SaaS and enterprise software markets, both in strategy and business development roles.
He was the Vice President of Alliances at Virtual Bridges, a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) software company.
He led the service provider market strategy and business development activities, establishing strategic partnerships and delivering significant revenue growth for this privately held company.
