Woodside Chief Executive Peter Coleman to Retire in 2021

SYDNEY--Woodside Petroleum Ltd. said Chief Executive Peter Coleman will retire from the energy explorer and producer in 2021 after more than 10 years in the role.

Woodside on Tuesday said Mr. Coleman had informed Chairman Richard Goyder of his intention to retire in the second half of 2021. Woodside said it has commenced an internal and external search for a successor.

Mr. Coleman said Woodside was well-positioned for the future and set up for its next phase.
