German equities are back on the rise in an optimistic phase (possible postponement of Brexit, Sino-American negotiations). This relaunch allows the DAX to recover 3.5% over the past two weeks, thus bringing the annual earnings to 14%.

During this reference period, all components of the index are gaining ground. Nevertheless, ThyssenKrupp stands out with an 11% increase, with the industrial group taking advantage of the calmness of the trade war. The chemist Henkel is following a similar path, with an increase of 8%, as well as RWE, with +7.8%.

Graphically, in daily data, prices return to fill a downward gap, left when the index fell in early August. The 12,150-point line will therefore be a major resistance. A blockage would push prices down towards 11,400 points. On the other hand, an overrun of the upper limit would open the way to 12,600 points at first. The behaviour of the DAX in the coming days should therefore be closely monitored.
