Vidente Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A121800) agreed to acquire an additional 3% stake in BTC Holding Company Co., Ltd. from Yeondae Jung and Jungah Lee for KRW 20.5 billion on July 25, 2018. Vidente Co., Ltd. will acquire 300 shares of BTC Holding Company Co., Ltd. in cash. Vidente Co., Ltd. will acquire 285 shares from Yeondae Jung for KRW 19.5 billion and 15 shares from Jungah Lee for KRW 1 billion. After the transaction, Vidente Co., Ltd. will hold 1300 shares amounting to 13% stake in BTC Holding Company Co., Ltd.
BTC Holding Company Co., Ltd. reported total assets of KRW 1.9 trillion and total capital of KRW 485.09 billion as at December 31, 2017. BTC Holding Company Co., Ltd. reported sales of KRW 333.42 billion and net profit of KRW 455.07 billion in 2017. The Board of Directors passed a resolution for the transaction on July 25, 2018. The transaction is expected to be completed on July 25, 2018. Sang Rok Accounting Firm acted as the external rating institution.
