Ubisoft shares are down nearly 2.2% today, one of the steepest declines on the SBF 120, penalized by the Chinese government's draft "measures for the administration of online games".

According to the National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA), these measures are due to come into force on June 20, 2024.

In particular, the NPPA's draft aims to 'strengthen the management of online gaming', 'protect the legitimate rights and interests of users' and 'safeguard the physical and mental health of minors and promote the healthy and orderly development of the online gaming industry'.

The interested public has until January 24, 2024 to provide feedback and comments.

In Amsterdam, Prosus, an investment group with a particular focus on the gaming sector, dropped nearly 15%.
