Tung Thih Electronic Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,582.430 million compared to TWD 1,652.691 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 176.803 million compared to operating Income of TWD 47.715 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 215.015 million compared to net income of TWD 63.155 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 2.51 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.74 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 5,357.793 million compared to TWD 5,386.123 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 68.943 million compared to operating Income of TWD 370.792 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 140.284 million compared to net income of TWD 263.928 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.64 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 3.1 a year ago. Diluted loss per share was TWD 1.64 compared to diluted earnings per share of TWD 3.09 a year ago.
Tung Thih Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of automobile electronic products and components. The Company's products include ultrasonic car auxiliary systems, vehicle alarms, door locked actuators, multi-function display indoor rear-view mirror systems, vehicle imaging systems, wireless tire pressure detection systems and body control modules (BCMs). The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets, including the rest of Asia, Americas and Europe.
