SUMO GROUP ENDS YEAR WITH SERIES OF PRESTIGIOUS PROJECT AND PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENTS

Sumo Group is delighted to be ending the year with a series of prestigious project announcements from a number of its studios.

In recent weeks, Sumo Group studios around the world have confirmed their involvement in a myriad of exciting projects ranging from beloved franchises, to anticipated releases and brand-new titles.

Leamington based Sumo Digital studio Lab42, Pipeworks Studios in the US and Sumo Newcastle announced their support on Call of Duty: Vanguard. The most connected Call of Duty® experience across the franchise, Call of Duty: Vanguard released on Friday 5th November 2021 and features several ways to play: Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies. Players experience pivotal WWII battles through the eyes of the multinational heroes that formed Task Force One and changed the face of history.

Sumo India and Sumo Nottingham announced their involvement in the development of Forza Horizon 5. The two studios worked alongside Playground Games on the development of Xbox Game Studios' critically acclaimed series, which welcomes players to explore the ever-evolving, open-world landscapes of vibrant Mexico.

Meanwhile, Sumo Nottingham and Red Kite Games recently announced they've been working with the teams at Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche Software on a magical new adventure under the Portkey Games label, the upcomingHogwarts Legacy.

At the recent 2021 Video Game Awards, held in Los Angeles last week, Sumo Nottingham also announced its partnership with Gun Interactive to bring to life The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. This asymmetrical horror experience based on the groundbreaking and iconic 1974 film will be available for PC and ninth-generation gaming consoles.

Following the critically acclaimed release of 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studio's Halo Infinity, Atomhawk revealed it supported the creation of a range of medals, emblems and UI assets.

And finally, earlier this week, Secret Mode announced its partnership with Canadian developer, Max Inferno, on cosy puzzle game A Little to the Left, due for release in Spring 2022 and available to Wishlist on Steam now. This new title sees players sorting, stacking and organizing household items into pleasing arrangements, but beware of the mischievous cat with an inclination for chaos.
