CEO's statement
Empowering a sustainable future
CONTENTS
Whether we are placing engineers to build wind turbines, medical researchers to create new vaccines or cyber specialists to provide financial security, we empower organisations to create a sustainable future by providing them with access to STEM skills. Our purpose is grounded in our ESG commitments, which are focused on encouraging diversity in STEM, reducing our own environmental impact and contributing to a net-zero future by facilitating green careers.
Our clients, candidates and colleagues all expect us to continue working towards building a sustainable future. So, we ensure that the goals we set are in line with our sustainability ambitions. Since 2018, we have had carbon reduction targets aligned to climate science. In 2022, we made the decision to set a net-zero target verified against the Science Based Target initiative. You will find how we will do this outlined in this Report. Achieving net-zero will not be easy; it will take systemic change. However, net-zero is the future we are building by bringing skilled people together. So we have to deliver net-zero ourselves in our own business operations.
The targets we set are aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and we are pleased to have made progress towards reaching these goals during 2022. Among our achievements are positively impacting 32,970 lives and increasing gender representation in the business - with 32% of all leadership positions now occupied by women.
This Report outlines the considerable progress we're making. We remain committed to taking meaningful action to build a sustainable future for everyone.
