Verona, 7 April 2020. The Board of Directors of Cattolica Assicurazioni, which met today under the chairmanship of Paolo Bedoni, accepted the resignation of Enrico Mattioli, deputy general manager and CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of the Group, who will leave the company at the end of April.

The Board of Directors took note of Mr. Mattioli's decision, made for personal and professional reasons, and wished him the best successes for the continuation of his career.

The directors thanked Mr. Mattioli, who joined the Group in September 2017, for the valuable work done in recent years in the conception and implementation of the 2018- 2020 Business Plan, as well as in the most significant financial and industrial operations of the Group and for the great professionalism demonstrated in relations with the market and with all the colleagues of the company, always characterised by deep respect and solid ethical principles.

In today's meeting, the Board of Directors appointed Atanasio Pantarrotas as the Group's new CFO, assigning him all the powers required by the role.

After a degree with honors in mathematics and a master's degree in insurance issues, Atanasio Pantarrotas has worked in the insurance world for about three years. He subsequently had a long experience as a financial analyst, mainly following insurance companies listed in various financial institutions and then joined the Cattolica Group in 2015, in the CFO area, where he held various positions.

The Board of Directors wished Mr. Pantarrotas all the best for the new assignment, which will start on May 1st.
