On 8 March 2021, Sioen Industries NV has received a notification from Sihold NV in accordance with article 6 of the Transparency Legislation with the information set out below, following the acquisition of 5,403,703 additional shares by Sihold NV during the initial acceptance period of its voluntary public takeover over Sioen Industries NV.

The information below takes into account the double voting rights for the shares in Sioen Indus-tries NV which have been registered in the share register on the name of the same shareholder for an uninterrupted period of at least two years and only reflects the ownership of voting rights (and not of shares) in Sioen Industries NV after closing of the initial acceptance period.

The results of the initial acceptance period were announced by press release published on 2 March 2021. Sihold NV owns on 8 March 2021 a total of 18,497,592 shares in Sioen Industries NV (93.52 %, including the treasury shares of Sioen Industries NV). In order to be able to launch a simplified squeeze-out, Sihold NV should acquire at least 96.62% of the shares in Sioen In-dustries (including the treasury shares of Sioen Industries NV).

Sihold NV is controlled by Sicorp NV. Sicorp NV is jointly controlled by JCA2M BV, ALCAMI BV and MIDIPA BV. JCA2M BV is controlled by Michèle Sioen. ALCAMI BV is controlled by Danielle Sioen. MIDIPA BV is controlled by Pascale Sioen.
