Open joint-stock company The Second Generating Company of the Wholesale Power Market has approved the list of candidates for the board of directors to be elected by shareholders at the AGM. There are 15 candidates for the 11 seats on the board. The list does not include two current members of the board: CJSC Lider CEO Anatoly Gavrilenko and Gazprom Investproekt LLC head Igor Golenishchev.

The candidates list includes former OGK-2 head Aleksey Mityushov, who stepped down in November 2012 and now holds a seat on the boards of OGK-2, Mosenergo (RTS: MSNG), TGK-1 (RTS: TGKA), OJSC Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie, OJSC Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat (RTS: SNOZ), OJSC Mezhregionteploenergo and OJSC Mezhregionenergogaz. His successor as general director at OGK-2, Denis Bashuk, not currently a board member, is also a candidate. The four other non-incumbent candidates are Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC department head Sergei Yezhov, first deputy head of Gazprom's finance and economics department Alexander Ivannikov, the head of power sector development and power industry marketing at Gazprom Mikhail Sorokin and his deputy, Yelena Senchenko.

Incumbent members of the board set to retain their seats are Gazprom Energoholding (GEH) chief Denis Fedorov (the current board chairman), his first deputy, Pavel Shatsky, GEH CFO Mikhail Khodursky, GEH director of corporate legal Sergei Fil, deputy head of electricity sector development and marketing, gas processing and liquid hydrocarbons at Gazprom Irina Korobkina, Investor Protection Association executive director Denis Kulikov, deputy head of power sector development and power industry marketing at Gazprom Alexander Rogov, and Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat general director Damir Shavaleev.
