Rubrik CEO Bipul Sinha shares his excitement about the company's initial public offering (IPO), with shares listed to open at $38, having been priced at $32. He stresses the importance of the day for Rubrik's employees, customers, partners and global ecosystem, while leaving discussions on share price to the experts and traders. Sinha highlights Rubrik's unique role in cybersecurity, helping customers maintain operations despite cyber attacks, ensuring the continuity of critical services.

The IPO aims to increase Rubrik's visibility and brand recognition, providing transparency on the company's performance which Sinha says benefits both customers and the Rubrik ecosystem, while attracting new innovative companies. He points out that the company has resisted the temptation to focus solely on artificial intelligence (AI), although it has developed significant capabilities in this area over the past ten years. Rubrik introduced Ruby, an AI-based product for data defence and recovery, enabling defenders to counter sophisticated cyber attacks.

Sinha also discusses Rubrik's ongoing and successful relationship with Microsoft, noting that the company has been named Microsoft's 2023 Partner of the Year in both the US and UK. The collaboration aims to strengthen the cyber resilience of joint customers and ensure business continuity in the face of cyber attacks, underlining the importance of digital trust.
