Nonthaburi - RATCH Group Public Company Limited announced that its operating performance in 2022 remains steady growth. Its total revenue recorded 81.788 billion baht, higher 84.4 percent than previous year, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) increased to 12.811 billion baht or 9.4 percent and net profits at 5.782 billion baht. Nevertheless, the company's board of directors meeting has resolved the dividend payment of 3.48 billion baht, equivalent to 1.60 baht per share and will be proposed to the shareholders' general meeting for approval on April 24, 2023.

Ms. Choosri Kietkajornkul, Chief Executive Officer of RATCH Group said that the operating performance in 2022 demonstrated steady growth as an increase of EBITDA to 12 billion baht achieved the company's target. Besides, the power generation business remains our core revenue source, in which in 2022 the additional revenues derived from two newly commercial operating power plants; the gas-fired Riau power plant in Indonesia and NEXIF RATCH Energy Rayong in Thailand, as well as from Asahan-1 Hydroelectric power plant in Indonesia and Sahacogeneration in Chonburi, Thailand, whose additional shares have been acquired.

"Generally, most of power plants managed their profitability quite well despite facing pressure from the rising fuel costs in relevant to global market price. Furthermore, financial management has been more paid attention particularly in maintaining cost of funds under appropriate level and timely raising sufficient fund to support the company's investment expansion. At present, the company has a strong financial position with a total asset of 229.578 billion baht, the liquidity ratio at 1.90 times and debt to equity ratio at 1.14 times. Importantly, the company pursues to keep sustainable returns to its shareholders. This year, the board of directors approved the dividend allocation to shareholders at total of 3.48 billion baht, representing 60.19 percent of the company's 2022 net profit. The resolution will be proposed to the 2023 Shareholders' Annual General Meeting for approval on 24 April 2023," Miss Choosri said.

On 23 September 2022, the company has already paid the interim dividend at 0.80 baht per share for the first 6-month operating performance of 2022 (a period of January to June 2022). The remaining will be paid at 0.80 baht per share.
