HOUSTON (AP) _ Ranger Oil Corporation (ROCC) on Wednesday reported a loss of $10 million in its first quarter.
The Houston-based company said it had a loss of 47 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $4.68 per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $2.24 per share.
The company posted revenue of $256.5 million in the period.
