On the Metallurgist's Day, Andrey Ilyich Komarov, a shareholder of ChelPipe Group, Co-Chairman of the Pipe Industry Development Fund, was awarded with the title RF Honored Metallurgist for the significant contribution to the industry development and long-time diligence. The order on awarding him was signed by the Minister of Trade and Industry of Russia. At the ceremony, Aleksandr Fyodorov, Chairman of the ChelPipe Board of Directors, awarded Andrey Komarov with a batch and certificate.

A.I. Komarov is the main concept designer of White Metallurgy, ChelPipe's corporate philosophy. He initiated and guided the establishment of the industry's breakthrough production sites - Vysota 239, Zhelezny Ozon 32, Finishing Center, ETERNO. Within the governmental and private partnership format, the ChelPipe Group plants implement programs to train highly skilled personnel for the industry: the Future of White Metallurgyin Pervouralsk and the College of Futurein Almetiyevsk.

A vivid example of Andrey Komarov's social activity is the annual children's theatrical festival Snezhnost (Snow Time)initiated and arranged by ChelPipe since 2003. In Ozyorsk (Chelyabinsk Region), hometown of ChelPipe's shareholder, his support helped to build the Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God and effect children's sports development initiatives.

Andrey Komarov is highly reputed in the business community and the ChelPipe team of 25 thousand employees. He has been repeatedly honored with certificates of merit and thanks from various ministries and agencies, for his outstanding performance and significant contribution to the industry development, and proactive social activities.
