Jakarta - Monday, May 23 2016 has been a historical day for Paris Saint-Germain football club and PT Multistrada Arah Sarana, Tbk who have signed a global partnership agreement for the next three season from 2016 to 2019. As the Indonesian original products, Achilles and Corsa have finally recognise themselves as Official Global Partner of the Parisian Club in a press conference held in Paris.

The tire producing company has put special attention to this world of sport by proving itself in the involvement of partnership in the football world. Previously, Multistrada had been associating with a British football club through a regional partnership. Then the company continued its commitment in the world of sport with Persib Bandung, Bali United and Arema Cronus.

In this year, Multistrada returns to team up with the pretigious club, Paris Saint-Germain in a bigger partnership scale which is global. PSG also admit that Multistrada is the first Indonesian company to cooperate with. One of Multistrada's objectives in this partnership is to market their products in several key nations across Europe, USA, Australia and Asia.

Pieter Tanuri, President Director of Multistrada, added, 'The young soul and spirit of PSG is the reason we decided to team up with PSG and bring up the theme 'Dream Bigger'. We are hoping to see this partnership as step for further development and innovations as well as having a bigger purpose like PSG'. One of the main programs which will be run by PSG and Multistrada is to built a football academy in Indonesia.

Sebastian Wassel, International Development Director of PSG, said, 'We are very proud to be here in Jakarta to meet you all and announce Paris Saint-Germain global partnership with Multistrada. I want to thank to Pieter Tanuri and his team for their trust and support. This company is our very first Indonesian manufacturing company to partner with us in a global scale. We believe that this partnership will strengthen Multistrada's involvement in football and allow Multistrada to step up in terms of International notoriety and sales.'

Triawan Munaf as the Head of BEKraf, also added, 'The partnership between PT. Multistrada and PSG is one of example how sports such as football should be dealt with. Football is not only a typical sport but it's also an entertainment for the whole people of Indonesia. There should be no politics within it, but rather an industry.'

With more than 2.6 million fans on Facebook, the Parisian Club is very popular in Indonesia. A certain number of these fans regularly come together as part of the Jakarta fan club. They can stay up to date with club news via the psg.fr website, which has been available in Bahasa since 2013.
