Earning Rp734.8 Billion, Jasa Marga Proceeds Postive Performance Through the First Semester in 2022

Jakarta (09/26), PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (the "Company") (Jakarta, 26 September) earned a Net Profit of Rp734.8 billion for the first semester of 2022, in conformity with the restoration of mobility and community activities. Operating Revenues for 2022 totaled Rp6.7 trillion, an increase of 17.9% compared to the same period in the previous year. This rise is attributable to the performance of Toll Revenues of Rp6.1 trillion, an increase of 16.1%, and Other Operating Revenues of Rp576.8 billion, an increase of 40.6%.

The operation of new toll road segments and an expansion in community mobilization have performed as accelerators for the company's traffic volume growth. Furthermore, the Company's EBITDA expanded by 21.3% in Semester I 2022, paralleling the increase in Toll Revenue performance. Similarly, the realization of EBITDA Margin reached 65.9% as a result of the operation of a number of new toll roads and the company's efficiency initiatives.

The Company remains capable of maintaining a 50% market share of operating toll roads in Indonesia by successfully adding 13.40 km of operations for the Manado-Bitung Toll Road part of Danowudu-Bitung and 206.65 km of toll road concessions for the Gedebage-Bitung Toll Road during 2022. With the expanding length of operating toll roads and toll road concessions, the Company currently operates a total of 1,260 Km of toll roads in Indonesia out of a total of 1,809 Km of toll road concessions controlled by the Company.

Jasa Marga has also finished the construction of the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road Section II of the Pamulang-Cinere Section along the 3.64 Km from 2022 to Semester I, that is presently in the Function Feasibility Test process.

Reportedly, Jasa Marga manages six toll road projects in the land acquisition and construction stages, which are scheduled to be completed in stages between 2022 and 2025, including the South Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road for Package III Sukabungah-Sadang and Package II Setu-Sukabungah, Jalan Ngawi-Kertosono-Kediri Toll Road for the Kediri-Kediri Toll Road,

Several toll road construction projects are now progress, and Jasa Marga is dedicated to doing its best to meet the established goals while maintaining control over the development process by working in stages. The company is particularly committed to focusing on job quality, workplace safety, and favoring the usage of domestic products.

Jasa Marga will continue its asset recycling program through 2022 to balance the company's growth with sustainability. In 2022, PT Jasamarga Transjawa Tol established a subholding through the spin-off of 13 parts of the 676 km Trans Java Toll Road.

Jasa Marga continuously maintains its commitments in a variety of areas, including environmental, social, and innovative development, in a goal to enhance services for road users and create sustainable toll roads. As a measure of support for Indonesia's G20 Presidency, the Company has finalized the layout of the Bali Mandara Toll Road on the basis of green environment and green energy. There are also ongoing efforts to develop technology-based innovations for toll road operations, such as the development of a mobile-based application called Travoy, thatis intended to serve as a travel assistant for road users, and the operation of the Jasa Marga Tollroad Command Center, thatis supported by the Jasamarga Integrated Digitalmap as an information processing platform based on the Intelligent Transportation System.

Jasa Marga also keeps going with its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, thatis based on Creating Shared Value (CSV). It does this by helping Micro Small Business (UMK) tenants pay their rent and by helping with infrastructure at Rest Area Km 88 B Cipularang Toll Road and Rest Area Km 207 A Palikanci Toll Road.

The Company has taken a number of steps to improve its performance during the recovery phase. These include agreeing to keep meeting the Minimum Service Standards for toll roads, controlling interest costs through refinancing, controlling toll road construction activities through ensuringthe right investment credit loans are in place, and increasing the use of integrated technology. in the toll road business, based on the spirit of innovation and change, with the goal of becoming the largest, most trusted, and most sustainable national toll road company.
