Occupational Health and Safety (K3) is one of the main priorities of the Barito Pacific Group in running a business. A subsidiary of the Barito Pacific Group implements an OHS Management System (SMK3) based on PP 50/2012 and international standard ISO 45001, which is checked through an annual certification audit by a registrar and auditor appointed by the Ministry of Manpower and Transmigration. This system was then adopted by each subsidiary and adapted to their respective business fields.
In ensuring the health of employees, the Subsidiary of the Barito Pacific Group carries out preventive, promotive, curative and routine activities. The health services provided include periodic health checks, clinics and doctors at each work location, as well as the BPJS Employment and Health BPJS programs as a form of protection.
A subsidiary of the Barito Pacific Group also has an OHS Committee or Occupational Health and Safety Committee (P2K3) chaired by the unit's top management, with the task of ensuring consistent application of SMK3 in business activities. The OHS Committee is responsible for establishing the OHS strategy and program, while each department and work unit is responsible for implementing and reporting its achievements to management.
