Calgary, Alberta--(Newsfile Corp. - August 12, 2015) - Nextraction Energy Corp. (TSXV: NE.H) (the "Company" or "Nextraction") announces that it has been advised by the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") that its tier classification was changed from Tier 2 to NEX effective Friday, August 7, 2015 on the basis that the Company no longer satisfies the Continuous Listing Requirements of the Exchange in respect of Tier 2 issuers. The trading symbol for the Company changed from NE to NE.H and the filing and service office will change from Vancouver to NEX.

Notwithstanding this determination by the Exchange, the Company continues to focus its efforts on evaluating its current assets and pursuing alternatives to resolve its working capital restrictions.

Reinstatement of trading can occur only when the Company has made the required filings to satisfy the Continuous Listing Requirements in respect of Tier 2 issuers and the Exchange has concluded its reinstatement review to ensure the Company has satisfactorily complied with Exchange requirements.
