In this year the total value of mergers and take-overs in the segment may reach even PLN 100 million. The daily states, new investments in the industry are a response to the legal and political changes regarding the National Health Fund (NFZ). The limitations regarding the purchase of national medical health centres and hospitals have drawn the attention and the capital in the direction of the private centres. Among the potential buyers' interest are medical care outpatient clinics and wards that are not indebted and have signed contracts with NFZ (National Health Fund).
