Moscow Coke and Gas Plant Boosts Coke Output and Sales Moscow Coke and Gas Plant (part of Mechel Group) in July stepped up coke sales to its customers. Compared to July 2019, sales went up 10%.

In July, the plant shipped a total of 50,500 tonnes of coke products to its customers. This is 9% more than in the previous month and 10% more than in July 2019. This included some 2,000 tonnes of coal tar oil, which is 2% more than in July 2019.

According to the plant's managing director Sergey Belan, the increase in output and sales of the plant's coke products was due mostly to increased export, particularly to China and India.
