Goose Creek, South Carolina, September 28, 2021 - Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services of Atlanta, Inc. (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced today the sale of the Goose Creek, SC Storage Opportunity, an over eight acre plot of land located in Goose Creek, South Carolina, according to Grant Fitzgerald, regional manager of the firm's Columbus office.
Nathan Coe, Brett R. Hatcher, and Gabriel Coe, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap's Columbus office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. Ben Yelm, South Carolina Regional Manager and Broker of Record, assisted in closing this transaction. Nathan Coe, the lead agent on the transaction, said, "I was very excited for the seller and the buyer for this transaction. The seller was able to capitalize on a very strong storage seller's market and the buyer is acquiring a great piece of land that will become a tremendous self-storage facility in the future."
The Goose Creek, SC Storage Opportunity is located about 15 miles north of Charleston, South Carolina. The property proposes 831 climate-controlled units totaling 84,080 net rentable square feet. It will be a three-story, class A facility.
