We're committed to taking steps to reduce the impact packaging has on the environment, and to making investments in the right technologies and partnerships to meet the ambitious targets that are required to move toward a more circular economy. Solving the complex issue of recycling will only be accomplished with collaboration.

As such, we believe in a shared approach to developing, funding and implementing collection and recycling programs.

Kraft Heinz supports well-designed, effective collection and recycling programs that:

• Are easily accessible to consumers and promote educational resources needed for success;
• Have a shared responsibility funding model; and
• Are financially sustainable through dedicated funds to support efforts to increase recycling rates.

The ultimate goals of this shared responsibility are to:

• Create a system that sufficiently recaptures as much packaging as possible post-use to reuse it across the industry.
• Allow for clear roles and responsibilities based on areas of expertise.
• Develop innovative recycling solutions to support a circular economy.
